While all of us work hard to ensure we’re delivering a great modern customer experience, we thought we’d share some sales statistics about the importance of referrals for all businesses.
- More than 9 out of 10 (92%) consumers trust referrals from people they know.
- Consumers referred by a friend are four times more likely to buy or use that service.
- 83 percent of consumers have said they made purchase decisions influenced by a friend’s social media post.
- In 2022, 89% of buyers would use their agent again or recommend that person to others, according to NAR. On the seller’s side, 85% say they would likely recommend their agent for future services.
But here’s the kicker: There are plenty of times when companies let the opportunity to ask for a referral pass. Let’s do better. We know it sounds daunting to ask for a referral, so we’ll start.
